Polka Dots

This quilt was brought to me for a wedding gift.  It was a last minute present to her Nephew.  The original pattern had a lot more 4 inch squares but I like it this way better.  We chose the spiral edge to edge to soften all of the hard lines and mimic the polka dots.  This will be a loved gift from a special Aunt.

Summer Time Kites

Kites from Buggy Barn. Love the kite tails.
I love Buggy Barn Original patterns.  This is a Stack and Whack pattern.  I really like making the precise pieced patterns but the stack and whack patterns are almost relaxing.

Red rick rack for the Kite strings.

One the back you can see the Edge to Edge pattern of a kite with tails and swirls.

Pop up design

Warm colors with a big impact.

All but the centers are 2 1/2 in strips

King size quilt is hard to display but you can see the red is the main feature.

This is the back the pattern is called greetings e2e
The large print flowers on green fabric is what I focused on for the quilting

This stitching actually is mimicking one of the green fabrics from the front.
